1973-1976

This series consists of recommendations and position papers relating to issues that were central to Jimmy Carter's final campaign platform. Because Stuart Eizenstat was the director of the Campaign Issues Office, this series contains position papers on a wide range of issues, i.e. abortion through zero base budgeting. These papers were written or obtained by members of the issues staff and other political consultants in their respective fields of expertise. This series also contains letters, memos, and handwritten notes relating to campaign strategy regarding key issues, including the organization and creation of the issues office.
